A variety of landscape, abstract and portraits. Captures textures and aspects, highlights motion with freeze or blur techniques. Nice use of natural and artificial light. 1940 One Way

Fantastic portraits, I guess it’s partly to do with the lighting. I can understand why famous people would want him to photograph them. Somehow turns a portrait in to a piece of art that needs to be framed and admired.

The people’s silhouette tracing the hill side with a kind of glow behind them. Make you feel like he has captured an important moment in time. He always seems have a foreground and a background with strong lines. Strange most of his work seems to be focusing on the left. Real people and their surroundings.

Best described as breathe taking, that was my initial reaction. Lots of detail in the foreground. Clouds merging with the mountains. Shadows and contrast. I did not notice the water fall straight away. I would say he was inspired by such a beautiful place. Do a Google image search for Yosemite National Park. I like way he captures depth of field and seems to frame his pictures
